In the ZenCart admin console click on Gift Certificates/Coupons in the navigation bar.  Click on Insert to see the display screen.  Type in the Name of Coupon, Coupon Amount ($15 or 10% off), Coupon Minimum Order, click Free Shipping if offered, enter a Coupon Code (this will appear at checkout), Uses per Coupon and Uses per Customer needs to be included as well as the start and end dates of the promotion.  Click on Preview and then Save. This promo code/coupon will appear at checkout.

Click on WooCommerce in the sidebar and then click on Coupons then Add New Coupon. Click the General button to the left and add the type of discount, the amount and check free shipping (if applies).  Click on Usage Restrictions and Usage Limits to further define the offer.  This promo code/coupon will appear at checkout.
