The CAMEO EZ® system is now programmed to accept and apply Coupon Codes. Discounts can:

• Be either a percentage or absolute dollar amount off a customers order.
• Be applied on the customers invoice (coupon code is entered during the checkout process and applied after submission).
• Have an automatic active and expiration date.
• Require a minimum order amount. (more info)
• Simultaneous (you can have many codes active at one time).

Before creating a coupon though, it is important to understand the limitations of the codes application:

• Codes apply to the entire order. You cannot designate certain items or categories for the coupon to apply to.
• A coupon cannot do buy-one-get-one-free or other free-with-purchase exchanges.
• There is no upper limit on the discount (if you use percentages).
• There is no way to limit it to first-time customers or orders (or return customers or orders).

Despite the limitations, the coupon code can still be used as part of an effective marketing strategy. Send an Email to gary@omeganetinc.net with the following information: Coupon Name like 2018 Summer Sale, the start and end date for the coupon,
the savings like 10% off orders over $500 or Free Shipping on orders over $400 or save $25 on orders over $350. He will create the coupon code for you and let you know when it is ready to use.

To double-check that your file works, you should place a test order and enter the coupon code in the correct place on the checkout form.
